This blog started in 2014, so those reading may not have seen one of the first articles about Don’t Stick Sticks Up Your Nose! Don’t Stuff Stuff In Your Ears!
Many children and family oriented magazines were contacted in an effort to educate the public on the common problems of children’s ear and nose foreign bodies.
While these misplaced foreign objects are rarely life-threatening, as They can also lead to a doctor’s office visit and sometimes an emergency department visits. It is, at times, uncomfortable to remove the object in the office setting so a trip to the operating room may be necessary. Additionally, I am sure you know what costs can be incurred. A great little nugget was published in June 2013 which was the second to last issue of Parenting Magazine. It was a fantastic magazine for parents and I don’t know why it was canceled, but it was likely because there were a number of other excellent parenting magazines on the newsstand. Nonetheless, I am posting the article for your viewing enjoyment!
